The Nina Ottosson Range is here!

This range came in early, just in time for Christmas.

The Nina Ottosson toys have proved to be highly popular and many sold out within the first day of arriving at Wagsalot. There are still a few great toys left, and more will be coming in early next year.

With Christmas coming around quickly, we've sold out of quite a few products, however more stock is on the way!

We have more of the Kyjen Puzzle range arriving early next week (about the 7th Dec), and I have just listed more rocket stud collars.

We will also have a limited supply of the Nina Ottosson toy range available early January.

New products arriving next week include Squeaky Squigglers and Bottle Buddies from Kyjen.

Something new to help animal rescue

Starting on 1st October we will be launching "product of the month".

As a quick run down, each month we will feature one product as our product of the month. This product will be available at a special discounted price.

For every one of these products sold we will donate a certain amount to a animal rescue organisation randomly picked by us. (you can suggest a rescue as well)

For example, October's product will be the Canine Genius Leo - Regular size. It will be available to purchase at $20.95 (RRP $29.95), and we will donate $2 from each product sold to a dog rescue organisation (to be announced on launch).

The only catch is, there is a set number for sale, and once the product is sold out, no more will be available at the discounted price, unless featured again in a later month.

We are starting this on a smaller scale for the first few months, and will build it up according to product demand.

This is our way of helping out rescue organisations.

Paws in the Park

Wagsalot had a stall at the Paws in the Park event at Baulkham Hills last Sunday. It was great to catch up with some fellow dog lovers, even though it was a tad hot!

In other news, we've dropped our postage price. We did increase the postage to $10.70 after Australia Post increased their rates, but we have decided to absorb the cost for our customers and leave the postage at a flat rate of $9.95 for up to 3kg.

Wagsalot has a stall at black beach Kiama this Sunday so if you're in the area pop down and say hello.

Postage Increase

Unfortunately Australia Post has increased postage prices again, and this time we cannot afford to absorb the increase. Due to this, we have had to increase our postage price by .80 cents.

We only have a few of their products at the moment, but will be expanding the range soon.

The Aussie Dog toys are safe and durable for those aggressive playing dogs.

Wagsalot will have a stall at the Campbelltown Pooches in the Park event on Saturday 2nd May. We will be there with all our products featured on the website, plus a few more we haven't had a chance to list yet!

"Grab your four legged friend and come along to the second annual Pooches in the Park event to be held on Saturday 2 May at Mary Brookes Park, St Helens Park.The event aims to educate the public on responsible pet ownership while offering a great day out for the entire family.Pooches in the Park will be held from 10am to 2pm and will feature entertainment, fun activities for the whole family, stalls, workshops and dog agility and obedience demonstrations. There will also be loads of information on responsible pet ownership to help you ensure that your best friend stays happy and healthy."

Victoria's Fire Victims

For those that are members of the Dogzonline forums there are auctions currently underway to raise money.

Wagsalot Pet Services has donated a Tuffie Ultimate Tug O War to be auctioned and will be making a monetary contribution. We urge anyone who can to donate to this very worthy cause to do so.

A message from the MDBA

Lots of dog people in Vic around Yarra Glen, Warburton, Kilmore, Wondong, Flowerdale and surrounding areas have lost their homes, some their dogs.

Many are trapped on roads/propertys unable to get out at this moment.The MDBA has a non profit company - Master Dog Breeders Emergency Aid set up to collect and help where required.We are now calling for donations urgently to help dog owners who are in dire straights.If anyone knows of anyone needing some help please contact us info@mdba.net.au

Stall Update

Wagsalot will have a stall at the Sussex Inlet (yes, we travel!) Duck Dash on Saturday 3rd January, 2009!

We have new products!

Today we have added some cat toys and collars, some more dog toys including new Fire Hose Tug toys.
We have also added some more dog collars. We got in some new leather studded collars that are fantastic! They are excellent quality and look fantastic on your dog. We only have black in colour at this stage, but will look at stocking other colours in the future.

Wagsalot will not close over Christmas. We are open 365 days a year. Orders will be posted as normal, except please take into consideration that there is no post on Public Holidays, which may delay orders by a few days.

We are looking forward to 2009 and will continue to stock more new products. We are growing by the month!

Our "professional dog toy tester", Riley, has quite a few pressies under the Christmas tree, so will be kept busy "testing" our toys over the Christmas period. We'll be sure to keep you udpated on his progess!

I'm currently on the look out for some great cat products and am hoping to have some in stock in the next few weeks.

I'm also working on getting some new bird toys to expand the bird range.

Hopefully we'll have a new category added to the site over the next few days with will be a Specials page. It will be a much easier way to locate all the items we have on sale.

In the meantime, we currently have the reindeer suits (all sizes), christmas bell collars (all sizes) and the Tuffie Tug-O-War's on sale. They are reduced to great prices so grab a bargain for Christmas.

New Stall - Sunday 14th Dec - Como - Sydney

Wagsalot will have a stall at Como Markets ( at Como Public School) on Sunday 14th December.

There is a offleash dog park right near the school, and you can walk your dog around the markets.

New Products Added

We've added some new products today - theres some new bird toys, rope perches, Dog Kongs and some pooch Poncho's.

We're loving the pooch poncho's. I got one out this afternoon and tested it on Riley (he's wearing a 60cm - it was a little big).

They're really easy to unfold and put on, and much to my surprise are really easy to fold back into the pouch as well!

Once unfolded out of the pouch, the pouch turns into a carry bag on the top of the poncho to put treats etc in.

They're very reasonably priced too, so check them out in Dog Fashion.

I'm still working on another stall before christmas - We'll have a update soon.
